The two men said to Lot, "If you have anyone else here---sons, daughters, sons-in-law, or any other relatives living in the city---get them out of here,

because we are going to destroy this place. The LORD has heard the terrible accusations against these people and has sent us to destroy Sodom."

He said to the people, "Get away from the tents of these wicked men and don't touch anything that belongs to them. Otherwise, you will be wiped out with them for all their sins."

So they moved away from the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. Dathan and Abiram had come out and were standing at the entrance of their tents, with their wives and children.

Go out from Babylon, go free! Shout the news gladly; make it known everywhere: "The LORD has saved his servant Israel!"

Be sure to leave Babylonia, all you that carry the Temple equipment. Touch no forbidden thing; keep yourselves holy and leave.

"People of Israel, run away from Babylonia! Leave the country! Be the first to leave!

Run away from Babylonia! Run for your lives! Do not be killed because of Babylonia's sin. I am now taking my revenge and punishing it as it deserves.

People of Israel, run away from there! Run for your life from my fierce anger.

The LORD says to his people in Babylonia: "You have escaped death! Now go! Don't wait! Though you are far from home, think about me, your LORD, and remember Jerusalem.

"You will see 'The Awful Horror' of which the prophet Daniel spoke. It will be standing in the holy place." (Note to the reader: understand what this means!)

"Then those who are in Judea must run away to the hills.

And so the Lord says, "You must leave them and separate yourselves from them. Have nothing to do with what is unclean, and I will accept you.

You become the friend of every thief you see, and you associate with adulterers.

and you claim that if you had lived during the time of your ancestors, you would not have done what they did and killed the prophets.

Be in no hurry to lay hands on people to dedicate them to the Lord's service. Take no part in the sins of others; keep yourself pure.

For anyone who wishes them peace becomes their partner in the evil things they do.
