Then the border extended around the west side to the south, from the hill that [lies] before Beth Horon southward; and it ended at Kirjath Baal (which [is] Kirjath Jearim), a city of the children of Judah. This [was] the west side.

Then they went up and encamped in Kirjath Jearim in Judah. (Therefore they call that place Mahaneh Dan to this day. There [it is,] west of Kirjath Jearim.)

So David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor in Egypt to as far as the entrance of Hamath, to bring the ark of God from Kirjath Jearim.

And David and all Israel went up to Baalah, to Kirjath Jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God the LORD, who dwells [between] the cherubim, where [His] name is proclaimed.

So that He forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, The tent He had placed among men,

" But go now to My place which [was] in Shiloh, where I set My name at the first, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of My people Israel.

"therefore I will do to the house which is called by My name, in which you trust, and to this place which I gave to you and your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.
