Then Saul knew David's voice, and said, "[Is] that your voice, my son David?" And David said, "[It is] my voice, my lord, O king."

As soon as the lad had gone, David arose from [a] place toward the south, fell on his face to the ground, and bowed down three times. And they kissed one another; and they wept together, but David more so.

Now when Abigail saw David, she hastened to dismount from the donkey, fell on her face before David, and bowed down to the ground.

So she fell at his feet and said: "On me, my lord, [on] me [let] this iniquity [be!] And please let your maidservant speak in your ears, and hear the words of your maidservant.

Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying:

" Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you.

Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes [are due,] customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.

Honor all [people.] Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
