"Then it will be, if they do not believe you, nor heed the message of the first sign, that they may believe the message of the latter sign.

"And this [will be] the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger."

Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, "This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world."

"And it shall be, as soon as the sun is up in the morning, [that] you shall rise early and rush upon the city; and [when] he and the people who are with him come out against you, you may then do to them as you find opportunity."

So God was with the lad; and he grew and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.

"When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots [and] people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God [is] with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt.

And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, "The LORD [is] with you, you mighty man of valor!"

"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

"Thus says the LORD to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held -- To subdue nations before him And loose the armor of kings, To open before him the double doors, So that the gates will not be shut:

'I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron.

"Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us."

"teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, [even] to the end of the age." Amen.
