And ten thousand select men from all Israel came against Gibeah, and the battle was fierce. But [the Benjamites] did not know that disaster [was] upon them.

And he commanded them, saying: "Behold, you shall lie in ambush against the city, behind the city. Do not go very far from the city, but all of you be ready.

Therefore David inquired of the LORD, and He said, "You shall not go up; circle around behind them, and come upon them in front of the mulberry trees.
