Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.

By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son [as] Savior of the world.

He answered and said to them, "Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.

"for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.

And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.

"And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

"I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

"O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me.

But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God -- and righteousness and sanctification and redemption --

For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to [give] the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

and what [is] the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power

may be able to comprehend with all the saints what [is] the width and length and depth and height --

that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and [attaining] to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,

in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

"And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

" And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ' These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens":

" And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ' These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:

And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?"

They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: "Great and marvelous [are] Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true [are] Your ways, O King of the saints!

Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.

He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.

And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

"I and [My] Father are one."

"At that day you will know that I [am] in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.

Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

" I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;

"And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:

Therefore, if anyone [is] in Christ, [he is] a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which [is] from the law, but that which [is] through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may [continue to] believe in the name of the Son of God.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life --

that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

" Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: 'I [am] the First and I [am] the Last; Besides Me [there is] no God.

Thus says the LORD: "The labor of Egypt and merchandise of Cush And of the Sabeans, men of stature, Shall come over to you, and they shall be yours; They shall walk behind you, They shall come over in chains; And they shall bow down to you. They will make supplication to you, [saying,] 'Surely God [is] in you, And [there is] no other; [There is] no other God.' "

Truly You [are] God, who hide Yourself, O God of Israel, the Savior!

Tell and bring forth [your case;] Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from ancient time? [Who] has told it from that time? [Have] not I, the LORD? And [there is] no other God besides Me, A just God and a Savior; [There is] none besides Me.

I have sworn by Myself; The word has gone out of My mouth [in] righteousness, And shall not return, That to Me every knee shall bow, Every tongue shall take an oath.

In the LORD all the descendants of Israel Shall be justified, and shall glory.' "

For your Maker [is] your husband, The LORD of hosts [is] His name; And your Redeemer [is] the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.

But the LORD [is] the true God; He [is] the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth will tremble, And the nations will not be able to endure His indignation.

In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this [is] His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?

And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"

"Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

of whom [are] the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ [came,] who is over all, [the] eternally blessed God. Amen.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

But to the Son [He says:] "Your throne, O God, [is] forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness [is] the scepter of Your Kingdom.
