"For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."

Then, the same day at evening, being the first [day] of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, "Peace [be] with you."

So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you."

"If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the [sins] of any, they are retained."

The other disciples therefore said to him, "We have seen the Lord." So he said to them, "Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe."

Then He said to Thomas, "Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand [here,] and put [it] into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing."

Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed [are] those who have not seen and [yet] have believed."

And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James [the son] of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas [the son] of James.

These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling.

Now on the first [day] of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight.

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Now in giving these instructions I do not praise [you,] since you come together not for the better but for the worse.

For first of all, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it.

Therefore when you come together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord's Supper.

Therefore if the whole church comes together in one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in [those who are] uninformed or unbelievers, will they not say that you are out of your mind?

These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,

but exhort one another daily, while it is called "Today," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.

Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.

"So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near -- at the doors!

"Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.

"So you also, when you see these things happening, know that it is near -- at the doors!

"Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.

And [do] this, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation [is] nearer than when we [first] believed.

Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord [is] at hand.

You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.

The Lord is not slack concerning [His] promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,

Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;
