Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.

" Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

"Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

"and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

"Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'

"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

"But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak;

"Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.

"And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind.

Were you called [while] a slave? Do not be concerned about it; but if you can be made free, rather use [it.]

But I want you to be without care. He who is unmarried cares for the things of the Lord -- how he may please the Lord.

casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

So Jacob was greatly afraid and distressed; and he divided the people that [were] with him, and the flocks and herds and camels, into two companies.

Then Jacob said, "O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, the LORD who said to me, 'Return to your country and to your family, and I will deal well with you':

"Deliver me, I pray, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau; for I fear him, lest he come and attack me [and] the mother with the children.

And Hannah answered and said, "No, my lord, I [am] a woman of sorrowful spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor intoxicating drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.

Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.

Now because of this King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah, the son of Amoz, prayed and cried out to heaven.

Now when he was in affliction, he implored the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,

and prayed to Him; and He received his entreaty, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD [was] God.

They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.

The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.

O Lord, open my lips, And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.

Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice.

Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God [is] a refuge for us. Selah

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;

In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Commit your works to the LORD, And your thoughts will be established.

'Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'

" Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

"For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,

"And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?

Then He said to His disciples, "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on.

praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints --

Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving;

pray without ceasing,

in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,

keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Then Samuel took a stone and set [it] up between Mizpah and Shen, and called its name Ebenezer, saying, "Thus far the LORD has helped us."

you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the gift [granted] to us through many.

giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

And [whatever] you do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

The sacrifice of the wicked [is] an abomination to the LORD, But the prayer of the upright [is] His delight.

"O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the secret [places] of the cliff, Let me see your face, Let me hear your voice; For your voice [is] sweet, And your face [is] lovely." HER BROTHERS

"Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
