For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, [that they are] the enemies of the cross of Christ:

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,

that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing [Him,] being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

as you know how we exhorted, and comforted, and charged every one of you, as a father [does] his own children,

that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.

Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God;

not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.

by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption [that is] in the world through lust.

to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness,

For if these things are yours and abound, [you will be] neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,

Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers,

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

But I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for [your] liberal sharing with them and all [men,]

which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

But I trust in the Lord that I myself shall also come shortly.

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,

since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints;

But now that Timothy has come to us from you, and brought us good news of your faith and love, and that you always have good remembrance of us, greatly desiring to see us, as we also [to see] you --

hearing of your love and faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints,

For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth [that is] in you, just as you walk in the truth.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

Therefore if [there is] any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy,

fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind.

Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved.

Jerusalem is built As a city that is compact together,

A Song of Ascents. Of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] For brethren to dwell together in unity!

But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.

Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and [that] there be no divisions among you, but [that] you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.

Let all [that] you [do] be done with love.

Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

'then I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them.

" I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;

"that they all may be one, as You, Father, [are] in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,

Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.

For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function,

so we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also [is] Christ.

For in fact the body is not one member but many.

And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body?

But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased.

But now indeed [there are] many members, yet one body.

No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.

but our presentable [parts] have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that [part] which lacks it,

And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with [it;] or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with [it.]

And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.

Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?

endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

one Lord, one faith, one baptism;

Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

For the LORD will plead their cause, And plunder the soul of those who plunder them.

And after some days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish, he sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.

Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name,

But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach):

In Him you also [trusted,] after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust.

having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck,

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
