'then I will give [you] the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.

then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

"Have you entered the treasury of snow, Or have you seen the treasury of hail,

You visit the earth and water it, You greatly enrich it; The river of God is full of water; You provide their grain, For so You have prepared it.

You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip [with] abundance.

The pastures are clothed with flocks; The valleys also are covered with grain; They shout for joy, they also sing.

He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain; He brings the wind out of His treasuries.

Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the LORD your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you -- The former rain, And the latter rain in the first [month.]

The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.

"And the Levite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who [are] within your gates, may come and eat and be satisfied, that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

"You shall surely give to him, and your heart should not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing the LORD your God will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand.

"He shall lend to you, but you shall not lend to him; he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.

"For the LORD your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.

The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower [is] servant to the lender.
