What am I saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered to idols is anything?

Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons.

Their idols [are] silver and gold, The work of men's hands.

They have ears, but they do not hear; Noses they have, but they do not smell;

Those who make them are like them; [So is] everyone who trusts in them.

Indeed you [are] nothing, And your work [is] nothing; [He who] chooses you [is] an abomination.

Do not fear, nor be afraid; Have I not told you from that time, and declared [it?] You [are] My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Indeed [there is] no other Rock; I know not [one.'] "

Those who make an image, all of them [are] useless, And their precious things shall not profit; They [are] their own witnesses; They neither see nor know, that they may be ashamed.

But the LORD is in His holy temple. Let all the earth keep silence before Him."

"Moreover you see and hear that not only at Ephesus, but throughout almost all Asia, this Paul has persuaded and turned away many people, saying that they are not gods which are made with hands.

yet for us [there is] one God, the Father, of whom [are] all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom [are] all things, and through whom we [live.]

'O Lord GOD, You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness and Your mighty hand, for what god [is there] in heaven or on earth who can do [anything] like Your works and Your mighty [deeds?]

"Therefore know this day, and consider [it] in your heart, that the LORD Himself [is] God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; [there is] no other.

" Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD [is] one!

'Now see that I, [even] I, [am] He, And [there is] no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; Nor [is there any] who can deliver from My hand.

"O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, [the One] who dwells [between] the cherubim, You [are] God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

"Now therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You [are] the LORD, You alone."

" Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: 'I [am] the First and I [am] the Last; Besides Me [there is] no God.

Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb: "I [am] the LORD, who makes all [things,] Who stretches out the heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself;

I [am] the LORD, and [there is] no other; [There is] no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me,

Thus says the LORD: "The labor of Egypt and merchandise of Cush And of the Sabeans, men of stature, Shall come over to you, and they shall be yours; They shall walk behind you, They shall come over in chains; And they shall bow down to you. They will make supplication to you, [saying,] 'Surely God [is] in you, And [there is] no other; [There is] no other God.' "

But the LORD [is] the true God; He [is] the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth will tremble, And the nations will not be able to endure His indignation.

Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments [is:] 'Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one.

one God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through all, and in you all.

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, [be] honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

For [there is] one God and one Mediator between God and men, [the] Man Christ Jesus,

To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, [Be] glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.
