There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.

for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,

to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another [different] kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God [which was] with me.

So then [it is] not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.

Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens.

how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already,

which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:

that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting [me] into the ministry,

And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.

For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.

not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Who then is Paul, and who [is] Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one?

For I wish that all men were even as I myself. But each one has his own gift from God, one in this manner and another in that.

Yours, O LORD, [is] the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all [that is] in heaven and in earth [is Yours;] Yours [is] the kingdom, O LORD, And You are exalted as head over all.

" Now therefore, our God, We thank You And praise Your glorious name.

For we [are] aliens and pilgrims before You, As [were] all our fathers; Our days on earth [are] as a shadow, And without hope.

On that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, "Ask! What shall I give you?"

"Now, O LORD God, let Your promise to David my father be established, for You have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.

And God said to Solomon: "Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honor or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life -- but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king --

For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth [come] knowledge and understanding;

" For [the kingdom of heaven is] like a man traveling to a far country, [who] called his own servants and delivered his goods to them.

"And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.

"So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come.'

And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.

John answered and said, "A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.

Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name,

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, [let us use them:] if prophecy, [let us prophesy] in proportion to our faith;

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Your glorying [is] not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

And many brought gifts to the LORD at Jerusalem, and presents to Hezekiah king of Judah, so that he was exalted in the sight of all nations thereafter.

But Hezekiah did not repay according to the favor [shown] him, for his heart was lifted up; therefore wrath was looming over him and over Judah and Jerusalem.

Hezekiah had very great riches and honor. And he made himself treasuries for silver, for gold, for precious stones, for spices, for shields, and for all kinds of desirable items;

Moreover he provided cities for himself, and possessions of flocks and herds in abundance; for God had given him very much property.

"Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "Because your heart [is] lifted up, And you say, 'I [am] a god, I sit [in] the seat of gods, In the midst of the seas,' Yet you [are] a man, and not a god, Though you set your heart as the heart of a god

With your wisdom and your understanding You have gained riches for yourself, And gathered gold and silver into your treasuries;

"Speak, and say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "Behold, I [am] against you, O Pharaoh king of Egypt, O great monster who lies in the midst of his rivers, Who has said, 'My River [is] my own; I have made [it] for myself.'

The king spoke, saying, "Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?"

And they shall drive you from men, and your dwelling [shall be] with the beasts of the field. They shall make you eat grass like oxen; and seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses."

"O king, the Most High God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father a kingdom and majesty, glory and honor.

"And you have lifted yourself up against the Lord of heaven. They have brought the vessels of His house before you, and you and your lords, your wives and your concubines, have drunk wine from them. And you have praised the gods of silver and gold, bronze and iron, wood and stone, which do not see or hear or know; and the God who [holds] your breath in His hand and owns all your ways, you have not glorified.

And the people kept shouting, "The voice of a god and not of a man!"

Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died.
