"This [is] My covenant which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: Every male child among you shall be circumcised;

'Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you [are.] And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy [you] when I strike the land of Egypt.

"Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: 'Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it [is] a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that [you] may know that I [am] the LORD who sanctifies you.

'It [is] a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for [in] six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.' "

"Moreover I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between them and Me, that they might know that I [am] the LORD who sanctifies them.

'hallow My Sabbaths, and they will be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I [am] the LORD your God.'

For he is not a Jew who [is one] outwardly, nor [is] circumcision that which [is] outward in the flesh;

but [he is] a Jew who [is one] inwardly; and circumcision [is that] of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise [is] not from men but from God.

"And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.

who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

In Him you also [trusted,] after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.

For the promise that he would be the heir of the world [was] not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;

What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith;

But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?' " (that is, to bring Christ down [from above)]

For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which [is] from the law, but that which [is] through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:

and the father of circumcision to those who not only [are] of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of the faith which our father Abraham [had while still] uncircumcised.

Therefore [it is] of faith that [it might be] according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, "So shall your descendants be."

even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;

to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they [are] not all Israel who [are] of Israel,

As it is written: "Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense, And whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."

For Christ [is] the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."

"And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham;

"that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

"He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

"And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day."

"And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day."

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.

"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."

But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet [given,] because Jesus was not yet glorified.

They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How [can] you say, 'You will be made free'?"

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.

"And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?"

Therefore know that [only] those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.

But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

And if you [are] Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy [be] upon them, and upon the Israel of God.
