Now when the people saw what Paul had done, they raised their voices, saying in the Lycaonian [language,] "The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!"

"I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house."

Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, "We never saw [anything] like this!"

And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.
