Then the Jews said to Him, "Now we know that You have a demon! Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, 'If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death.'

"You call me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for [so] I am.

"Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:

You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe -- and tremble!

Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, "How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.

The people answered and said, "You have a demon. Who is seeking to kill You?"

And many of them said, "He has a demon and is mad. Why do you listen to Him?"

Thus says the LORD, The Redeemer of Israel, their Holy One, To Him whom man despises, To Him whom the nation abhors, To the Servant of rulers: "Kings shall see and arise, Princes also shall worship, Because of the LORD who is faithful, The Holy One of Israel; And He has chosen You."

He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, [our] faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

"It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more [will they call] those of his household!

Now when the Pharisees heard [it] they said, "This [fellow] does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons."

" Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy [against] the Spirit will not be forgiven men.

For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, "The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me."

Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.
