"You will seek Me and not find [Me,] and where I am you cannot come."

This He said, signifying by what death He would die.

Then Jesus said to them, "A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.

"[As] the LORD your God lives, there is no nation or kingdom where my master has not sent someone to hunt for you; and when they said, '[He is] not [here,'] he took an oath from the kingdom or nation that they could not find you.

Then they said to him, "Look now, there are fifty strong men with your servants. Please let them go and search for your master, lest perhaps the Spirit of the LORD has taken him up and cast him upon some mountain or into some valley." And he said, "You shall not send anyone."

But when they urged him till he was ashamed, he said, "Send [them!"] Therefore they sent fifty men, and they searched for three days but did not find him.

"for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, 'Blessed [is] He who comes in the name of the LORD!' "

"Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here [is] the Christ!' or 'There!' do not believe [it.]

"For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

"Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am [He,] you will die in your sins."

His bones are full of his youthful vigor, But it will lie down with him in the dust.

Surely You set them in slippery places; You cast them down to destruction.

As a dream when [one] awakes, [So,] Lord, when You awake, You shall despise their image.

When a wicked man dies, [his] expectation will perish, And the hope of the unjust perishes.

The wicked is banished in his wickedness, But the righteous has a refuge in his death.

" No more shall an infant from there [live but a few] days, Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; For the child shall die one hundred years old, But the sinner [being] one hundred years old shall be accursed.

"When I say to the wicked, 'You shall surely die,' and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked [man] shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.

"Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

"So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried.

"Then he cried and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.'

'And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.'

And if Christ is not risen, your faith [is] futile; you are still in your sins!

Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

And you [He made alive,] who were dead in trespasses and sins,

"You will seek Me and not find [Me,] and where I am you cannot come."

"Little children, I shall be with you a little while longer. You will seek Me; and as I said to the Jews, 'Where I am going, you cannot come,' so now I say to you.

"Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

"And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
