"You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one.

"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here."

" You shall appoint judges and officers in all your gates, which the LORD your God gives you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with just judgment.

"And you shall come to the priests, the Levites, and to the judge [there] in those days, and inquire [of them;] they shall pronounce upon you the sentence of judgment.

"For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives but to save [them."] And they went to another village.

Then one from the crowd said to Him, "Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me."

But He said to him, "Man, who made Me a judge or an arbitrator over you?"

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.

For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to [execute] wrath on him who practices evil.

For what [have] I [to do] with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside?

Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, "See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you."

" For has [anyone] said to God, 'I have borne [chastening;] I will offend no more;

He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes [them] will have mercy.

"Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil,

" Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.

Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

" Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways," says the Lord GOD. "Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin.

"For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies," says the Lord GOD. "Therefore turn and live!"

" But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, 'Son, go, work today in my vineyard.'

"Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, 'I [go,] sir,' but he did not go.

"I have not come to call [the] righteous, but sinners, to repentance."

"I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.

"I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish."

"I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

"Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

'It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.' "

Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,

so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

This [is] a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.

and consider [that] the longsuffering of our Lord [is] salvation -- as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you,

"And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent.

"Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.
