"Remember the word that I said to you, 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.

Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?"

And he said, "Who are You, Lord?" Then the Lord said, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It [is] hard for you to kick against the goads."

But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in [that] place.

"Did not Moses give you the law, yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill Me?"

The people answered and said, "You have a demon. Who is seeking to kill You?"

Now some of them from Jerusalem said, "Is this not He whom they seek to kill?

Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand.

Then He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And he stretched [it] out, and it was restored as whole as the other.

Then the Pharisees went out and immediately plotted with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him.

But they were filled with rage, and discussed with one another what they might do to Jesus.
