Jesus answered and said to him, "What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this."

And the people said to me, "Will you not tell us what these [things signify] to us, that you behave so?"

'Thus Ezekiel is a sign to you; according to all that he has done you shall do; and when this comes, you shall know that I [am] the Lord GOD.' "

Jesus said to them, "Have you understood all these things?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord."

And He said to them, "Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables?
