Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name."

And the man who stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, "These [are the ones] whom the LORD has sent to walk to and fro throughout the earth."

Then the apostles gathered to Jesus and told Him all things, both what they had done and what they had taught.

Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

When Jesus heard [it,] He departed from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself. But when the multitudes heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities.

"Why does this [Man] speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?"

And He said to them, "Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while." For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.

So they departed to a deserted place in the boat by themselves.

"Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

Immediately He made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while He sent the multitude away.

Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.
