'and the swine, though it divides the hoof, having cloven hooves, yet does not chew the cud, [is] unclean to you.

Who sit among the graves, And spend the night in the tombs; Who eat swine's flesh, And the broth of abominable things is [in] their vessels;

" He who kills a bull [is as if] he slays a man; He who sacrifices a lamb, [as if] he breaks a dog's neck; He who offers a grain offering, [as if he offers] swine's blood; He who burns incense, [as if] he blesses an idol. Just as they have chosen their own ways, And their soul delights in their abominations,

Now a good way off from them there was a herd of many swine feeding.

And He said to them, "Go." So when they had come out, they went into the herd of swine. And suddenly the whole herd of swine ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and perished in the water.

Now a large herd of swine was feeding there near the mountains.

And at once Jesus gave them permission. Then the unclean spirits went out and entered the swine (there were about two thousand); and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and drowned in the sea.

"Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.

God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power [belongs] to God.

Jesus answered, "You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above. Therefore the one who delivered Me to you has the greater sin."

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

"The LORD said to him, 'In what way?' So he said, 'I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.' And the LORD said, 'You shall persuade [him,] and also prevail. Go out and do so.'

And the LORD said to Satan, "Behold, all that he has [is] in your power; only do not lay a hand on his [person."] So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD.

And the LORD said to Satan, "Behold, he [is] in your hand, but spare his life."

Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison
