Then fear came on all who dwelt around them; and all these sayings were discussed throughout all the hill country of Judea.

When Simon Peter saw [it,] he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!"

And they were all amazed, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, "We have seen strange things today!"

Then the whole multitude of the surrounding region of the Gadarenes asked Him to depart from them, for they were seized with great fear. And He got into the boat and returned.

'Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.'

So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.

Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things.

So great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things.

Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly.

Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.

Now when the multitudes saw [it,] they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men.

So the multitude marveled when they saw [the] mute speaking, [the] maimed made whole, [the] lame walking, and [the] blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.

And they glorified God in me.

Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw [this,] he spoke to himself, saying, "This man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman [this is] who is touching Him, for she is a sinner."

So they answered and said, "John the Baptist, but some [say] Elijah; and others [say] that one of the old prophets has risen again."

And He said to them, "What things?" So they said to Him, "The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,

And they asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?" He said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" And he answered, "No."

And they asked him, saying, "Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?"

The woman said to Him, "Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet.

Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, "This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world."

Therefore many from the crowd, when they heard this saying, said, "Truly this is the Prophet."

Others said, "This is the Christ." But some said, "Will the Christ come out of Galilee?

They said to the blind man again, "What do you say about Him because He opened your eyes?" He said, "He is a prophet."

"For Moses truly said to the fathers, 'The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.

'And it shall be [that] every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.'

" This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, 'The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear.'

"Blessed [is] the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited and redeemed His people,

"and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation."

So the people believed; and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel and that He had looked on their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshiped.

You visit the earth and water it, You greatly enrich it; The river of God is full of water; You provide their grain, For so You have prepared it.

Remember me, O LORD, with the favor [You have toward] Your people; Oh, visit me with Your salvation,

That I may see the benefit of Your chosen ones, That I may rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, That I may glory with Your inheritance.
