Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law.

" The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.

"But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great [is] that darkness!

"Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember?

'to open their eyes, [in order] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.'

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,

For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.

But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ;

Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.

And they struck the men who [were] at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they became weary [trying] to find the door.

And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, "Alas, my master! What shall we do?"

And Elisha prayed, and said, "LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain [was] full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Now Elisha said to them, "This [is] not the way, nor [is] this the city. Follow me, and I will bring you to the man whom you seek." But he led them to Samaria.

So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart, To walk in their own counsels.

A man with an evil eye hastens after riches, And does not consider that poverty will come upon him.

"Make the heart of this people dull, And their ears heavy, And shut their eyes; Lest they see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And return and be healed."

For the LORD has poured out on you The spirit of deep sleep, And has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets; And He has covered your heads, [namely,] the seers.

Who [is] blind but My servant, Or deaf as My messenger [whom] I send? Who [is] blind as [he who is] perfect, And blind as the LORD's servant?

They do not know nor understand; For He has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, [And] their hearts, so that they cannot understand.

'Hear this now, O foolish people, Without understanding, Who have eyes and see not, And who have ears and hear not:

"so that 'Seeing they may see and not perceive, And hearing they may hear and not understand; Lest they should turn, And [their] sins be forgiven them.' "

"thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.

"And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord [is] upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time." And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand.

Just as it is written: "God has given them a spirit of stupor, Eyes that they should not see And ears that they should not hear, To this very day."

Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see, and bow down their back always."

whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

The coming of the [lawless one] is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,

And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
