Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

And it came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy [place,] that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,

Then Solomon spoke: "The LORD said He would dwell in the dark cloud.

Clouds and darkness surround Him; Righteousness and justice [are] the foundation of His throne.

" I was watching in the night visions, And behold, [One] like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, And they brought Him near before Him.

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!"

But Jesus came and touched them and said, "Arise, and do not be afraid."

Jesus said to him, "[It is as] you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven."

While he was saying this, a cloud came and overshadowed them; and they were fearful as they entered the cloud.

When the voice had ceased, Jesus was found alone. But they kept quiet, and told no one in those days any of the things they had seen.

Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

Then a voice came from heaven, "You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

"I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, 'You [are] My Son, Today I have begotten You.

And suddenly a voice [came] from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him, "I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!"

"He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now if He will have Him; for He said, 'I am the Son of God.' "

So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, "Truly this was the Son of God!"

"And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God."

Nathanael answered and said to Him, "Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!"

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

"He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.

"For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son,

" Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

"Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, "Do you believe in the Son of God?"

The Jews answered him, "We have a law, and according to our law He ought to die, because He made Himself the Son of God."

but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

Then Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."

[and] declared [to be] the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.

For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins.

And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

"Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgressions; for My name [is] in Him.

"But if you indeed obey His voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.

" The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear,

"And the LORD said to me: 'What they have spoken is good.

'And it shall be [that] whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require [it] of him.

"For Moses truly said to the fathers, 'The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.

'And it shall be [that] every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.'

" This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, 'The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear.'

Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away.

See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more [shall we not escape] if we turn away from Him who [speaks] from heaven,

whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, "Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven."
