Then He commanded them to make them all sit down in groups on the green grass.

So they sat down in ranks, in hundreds and in fifties.

He said, "Bring them here to Me."

Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes.

So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.

And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke [them] and gave [them] to His disciples; and the disciples [gave] to the multitude.

For there were about five thousand men. Then He said to His disciples, "Make them sit down in groups of fifty."

And they did so, and made them all sit down.

"Blessed [are] those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down [to eat,] and will come and serve them.

His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do [it."]

Then Jesus said, "Make the people sit down." Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave [them] to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among [them] all.

And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish.

"As soon as you come into the city, you will surely find him before he goes up to the high place to eat. For the people will not eat until he comes, because he must bless the sacrifice; afterward those who are invited will eat. Now therefore, go up, for about this time you will find him."

And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke [them] and gave [them] to His disciples; and the disciples [gave] to the multitude.

And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke [it,] and gave [it] to the disciples and said, "Take, eat; this is My body."

Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke [it,] and gave it to them.

And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed [them] to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted.

however, other boats came from Tiberias, near the place where they ate bread after the Lord had given thanks --

He who observes the day, observes [it] to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe [it.] He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks.

But if I partake with thanks, why am I evil spoken of for [the food] over which I give thanks?

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

And [whatever] you do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

forbidding to marry, [and commanding] to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
