Then Jesus said to them, "All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written: 'I will strike the Shepherd, And the sheep will be scattered.'

" He has removed my brothers far from me, And my acquaintances are completely estranged from me.

My relatives have failed, And my close friends have forgotten me.

My loved ones and my friends stand aloof from my plague, And my relatives stand afar off.

Your wrath lies heavy upon me, And You have afflicted [me] with all Your waves. Selah

You have put away my acquaintances far from me; You have made me an abomination to them; [I am] shut up, and I cannot get out;

Loved one and friend You have put far from me, [And] my acquaintances into darkness.

" I have trodden the winepress alone, And from the peoples no one [was] with Me. For I have trodden them in My anger, And trampled them in My fury; Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, And I have stained all My robes.

"Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.

Jesus answered, "I have told you that I am [He.] Therefore, if you seek Me, let these go their way,"

At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. May it not be charged against them.
