Now the LORD had said to Abram: "Get out of your country, From your family And from your father's house, To a land that I will show you.

I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."

'Also do not be concerned about your goods, for the best of all the land of Egypt [is] yours.' "

Who says of his father and mother, 'I have not seen them'; Nor did he acknowledge his brothers, Or know his own children; For they have observed Your word And kept Your covenant.

Bless his substance, LORD, And accept the work of his hands; Strike the loins of those who rise against him, And of those who hate him, that they rise not again."

"But you are those who have continued with Me in My trials.

"that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel."

By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter,

esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.

"For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's will save it.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

"Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.

"You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.

Now this I do for the gospel's sake, that I may be partaker of it with [you.]

"and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name's sake and have not become weary.
