And Pharaoh sent and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, "I have sinned this time. The LORD [is] righteous, and my people and I [are] wicked.

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste, and said, "I have sinned against the LORD your God and against you.

"Now therefore, please forgive my sin only this once, and entreat the LORD your God, that He may take away from me this death only."

Then Saul said to Samuel, "I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice.

Then he said, "I have sinned; [yet] honor me now, please, before the elders of my people and before Israel, and return with me, that I may worship the LORD your God."

Then he said to David: "You [are] more righteous than I; for you have rewarded me with good, whereas I have rewarded you with evil.

Then Saul said, "I have sinned. Return, my son David. For I will harm you no more, because my life was precious in your eyes this day. Indeed I have played the fool and erred exceedingly."

So David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the LORD." And Nathan said to David, "The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die.

" For has [anyone] said to God, 'I have borne [chastening;] I will offend no more;

Teach me [what] I do not see; If I have done iniquity, I will do no more'?

When He slew them, then they sought Him; And they returned and sought earnestly for God.

saying, "I have sinned by betraying innocent blood." And they said, "What [is that] to us? You see [to it!"]

Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself.

And God said to Balaam, "You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people, for they [are] blessed."

Now [when] the people complained, it displeased the LORD; for the LORD heard [it,] and His anger was aroused. So the fire of the LORD burned among them, and consumed [some] in the outskirts of the camp.

And God was displeased with this thing; therefore He struck Israel.

Lest the LORD see [it,] and it displease Him, And He turn away His wrath from him.

" For has [anyone] said to God, 'I have borne [chastening;] I will offend no more;

Teach me [what] I do not see; If I have done iniquity, I will do no more'?
