"Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son."

Yes, again and again they tempted God, And limited the Holy One of Israel.

Why, when I came, [was there] no man? [Why,] when I called, [was there] none to answer? Is My hand shortened at all that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Indeed with My rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness; Their fish stink because [there is] no water, And die of thirst.

Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear.

[You who are] named the house of Jacob: "Is the Spirit of the LORD restricted? [Are] these His doings? Do not My words do good To him who walks uprightly?

But Jesus looked at [them] and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

"For with God nothing will be impossible."

"God [is] not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

So an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, "Look, [if] the LORD would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?" And he said, "In fact, you shall see [it] with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it."

Now the king had appointed the officer on whose hand he leaned to have charge of the gate. But the people trampled him in the gate, and he died, just as the man of God had said, who spoke when the king came down to him.

Then that officer had answered the man of God, and said, "Now look, [if] the LORD would make windows in heaven, could such a thing be?" And he had said, "In fact, you shall see [it] with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it."

'Yet a small number who escape the sword shall return from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah; and all the remnant of Judah, who have gone to the land of Egypt to dwell there, shall know whose words will stand, Mine or theirs.

'And this [shall be] a sign to you,' says the LORD, 'that I will punish you in this place, that you may know that My words will surely stand against you for adversity.'

"For I [am] the LORD. I speak, and the word which I speak will come to pass; it will no more be postponed; for in your days, O rebellious house, I will say the word and perform it," says the Lord GOD.' "

I, the LORD, have spoken [it;] It shall come to pass, and I will do [it;] I will not hold back, Nor will I spare, Nor will I relent; According to your ways And according to your deeds They will judge you," Says the Lord GOD.' "

"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
