'For the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the heave offering I have taken from the children of Israel, from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and I have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons from the children of Israel by a statute forever.' "

Then he took the fat and the fat tail, all the fat that [was] on the entrails, the fatty lobe [attached to] the liver, the two kidneys and their fat, and the right thigh;

and from the basket of unleavened bread that was before the LORD he took one unleavened cake, a cake of bread [anointed with] oil, and one wafer, and put [them] on the fat and on the right thigh;

but the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved [as] a wave offering before the LORD, as Moses had commanded.

"The breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the heave offering you shall eat in a clean place, you, your sons, and your daughters with you; for [they are] your due and your sons' due, [which] are given from the sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of Israel.

'and the priest shall wave them as a wave offering before the LORD; they [are] holy for the priest, together with the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the heave offering. After that the Nazirite may drink wine.'

"And their flesh shall be yours, just as the wave breast and the right thigh are yours.

"All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer to the LORD, I have given to you and your sons and daughters with you as an ordinance forever; it [is] a covenant of salt forever before the LORD with you and your descendants with you."

" And this shall be the priest's due from the people, from those who offer a sacrifice, whether [it is] bull or sheep: they shall give to the priest the shoulder, the cheeks, and the stomach.

Do you not know that those who minister the holy things eat [of the things] of the temple, and those who serve at the altar partake of [the offerings of] the altar?

Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel.
