"And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.

"I will dwell among the children of Israel and will be their God.

'Nevertheless, if the land of your possession [is] unclean, [then] cross over to the land of the possession of the LORD, where the LORD's tabernacle stands, and take possession among us; but do not rebel against the LORD, nor rebel against us, by building yourselves an altar besides the altar of the LORD our God.

I have surely built You an exalted house, And a place for You to dwell in forever."

"But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built!

In Salem also is His tabernacle, And His dwelling place in Zion.

"The nations also will know that I, the LORD, sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forevermore." ' "

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them [and be] their God.

When God heard [this,] He was furious, And greatly abhorred Israel,

Therefore the wrath of the LORD was kindled against His people, So that He abhorred His own inheritance.

Do not abhor [us,] for Your name's sake; Do not disgrace the throne of Your glory. Remember, do not break Your covenant with us.

The Lord has spurned His altar, He has abandoned His sanctuary; He has given up the walls of her palaces Into the hand of the enemy. They have made a noise in the house of the LORD As on the day of a set feast.

I dismissed the three shepherds in one month. My soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
