When they had pasture, they were filled; They were filled and their heart was exalted; Therefore they forgot Me.

Of the Rock [who] begot you, you are unmindful, And have forgotten the God who fathered you.

They forgot God their Savior, Who had done great things in Egypt,

Because you have forgotten the God of your salvation, And have not been mindful of the Rock of your stronghold, Therefore you will plant pleasant plants And set out foreign seedlings;

Can a virgin forget her ornaments, [Or] a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me days without number.

A voice was heard on the desolate heights, Weeping [and] supplications of the children of Israel. For they have perverted their way; They have forgotten the LORD their God.

"who try to make My people forget My name by their dreams which everyone tells his neighbor, as their fathers forgot My name for Baal.

But when he sees his children, The work of My hands, in his midst, They will hallow My name, And hallow the Holy One of Jacob, And fear the God of Israel.

This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

He made shrines on the high places, and made priests from every class of people, who were not of the sons of Levi.

And it came to pass, as though it had been a trivial thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took as wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal, king of the Sidonians; and he went and served Baal and worshiped him.

Also he built towers in the desert. He dug many wells, for he had much livestock, both in the lowlands and in the plains; [he also had] farmers and vinedressers in the mountains and in Carmel, for he loved the soil.

Moreover he built cities in the mountains of Judah, and in the forests he built fortresses and towers.

He removed the protection of Judah. You looked in that day to the armor of the House of the Forest;

You numbered the houses of Jerusalem, And the houses you broke down To fortify the wall.

And in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the fortified cities of Judah and took them.

The LORD shall go forth like a mighty man; He shall stir up [His] zeal like a man of war. He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud; He shall prevail against His enemies.

Therefore He has poured on him the fury of His anger And the strength of battle; It has set him on fire all around, Yet he did not know; And it burned him, Yet he did not take [it] to heart.

"But if you will not heed Me to hallow the Sabbath day, such as not carrying a burden when entering the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, then I will kindle a fire in its gates, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched." ' "

But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, Which shall devour the palaces of Ben-Hadad.

But I will send a fire upon the wall of Tyre, Which shall devour its palaces."

But I will send a fire upon Teman, Which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah."

But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, And it shall devour its palaces, Amid shouting in the day of battle, And a tempest in the day of the whirlwind.

But I will send a fire upon Judah, And it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem."
