" For has [anyone] said to God, 'I have borne [chastening;] I will offend no more;

Teach me [what] I do not see; If I have done iniquity, I will do no more'?

Let the priests, who minister to the LORD, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, "Spare Your people, O LORD, And do not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, 'Where [is] their God?' "

"In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

So He said to them, "When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as [it is] in heaven.

And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one."

"And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise [his] eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me a sinner!'

So David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the LORD." And Nathan said to David, "The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die.

And David's heart condemned him after he had numbered the people. So David said to the LORD, "I have sinned greatly in what I have done; but now, I pray, O LORD, take away the iniquity of Your servant, for I have done very foolishly."

Why then do You not pardon my transgression, And take away my iniquity? For now I will lie down in the dust, And You will seek me diligently, But I [will] no longer [be."]

Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.

Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done [this] evil in Your sight -- That You may be found just when You speak, [And] blameless when You judge.

Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden [part] You will make me to know wisdom.

Make me hear joy and gladness, [That] the bones You have broken may rejoice.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

And he touched my mouth [with it,] and said: "Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged."

"Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea.

Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, "Take away the filthy garments from him." And to him He said, "See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes."

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

For this [is] My covenant with them, When I take away their sins."

who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself [His] own special people, zealous for good works.

For [it is] not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.

"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"

"And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.'

'And bring the fatted calf here and kill [it,] and let us eat and be merry;

to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in [His] kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God,

who has saved us and called [us] with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,

I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving.

[This] also shall please the LORD better than an ox [or] bull, Which has horns and hooves.

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of [our] lips, giving thanks to His name.

you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

But you [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
