And the king, when he heard [these] words, was greatly displeased with himself, and set [his] heart on Daniel to deliver him; and he labored till the going down of the sun to deliver him.

Now the king went to his palace and spent the night fasting; and no musicians were brought before him. Also his sleep went from him.

Then Jethro rejoiced for all the good which the LORD had done for Israel, whom He had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.

So it was, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly and said, Blessed [be] the LORD this day, for He has given David a wise son over this great people!

Then Hiram king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon: Because the LORD loves His people, He has made you king over them.

Hiram also said: Blessed [be] the LORD God of Israel, who made heaven and earth, for He has given King David a wise son, endowed with prudence and understanding, who will build a temple for the LORD and a royal house for himself!

"Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God."

And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king's counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them.

Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, "Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God!

And they were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all who [were] with them, for they cried out to God in the battle. He heeded their prayer, because they put their trust in Him.

So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper."

And the LORD shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him.

[It is] better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man.

[It is] better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in princes.

Do not put your trust in princes, [Nor] in a son of man, in whom [there is] no help.

Happy [is he] who [has] the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope [is] in the LORD his God,

The name of the LORD [is] a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.

You will keep [him] in perfect peace, [Whose] mind [is] stayed [on You,] Because he trusts in You.

Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things [are] possible to him who believes."

who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
