"But the house of Israel will not listen to you, because they will not listen to Me; for all the house of Israel [are] impudent and hard-hearted.

"Therefore circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and be stiff-necked no longer.

"for I know your rebellion and your stiff neck. [If] today, while I am yet alive with you, you have been rebellious against the LORD, then how much more after my death?

"Now do not be stiff-necked, as your fathers [were, but] yield yourselves to the LORD; and enter His sanctuary, which He has sanctified forever, and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of His wrath may turn away from you.

And he also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear [an oath] by God; but he stiffened his neck and hardened his heart against turning to the LORD God of Israel.

"Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, As [in] the day of trial in the wilderness,

Because I knew that you [were] obstinate, And your neck [was] an iron sinew, And your brow bronze,

Therefore the showers have been withheld, And there has been no latter rain. You have had a harlot's forehead; You refuse to be ashamed.

O LORD, [are] not Your eyes on the truth? You have stricken them, But they have not grieved; You have consumed them, But they have refused to receive correction. They have made their faces harder than rock; They have refused to return.

A wicked man hardens his face, But [as for] the upright, he establishes his way.

And Micaiah said, "[As] the LORD lives, whatever the LORD says to me, that I will speak."

"Thus says the LORD: 'Stand in the court of the LORD's house, and speak to all the cities of Judah, which come to worship [in] the LORD's house, all the words that I command you to speak to them. Do not diminish a word.

'Perhaps everyone will listen and turn from his evil way, that I may relent concerning the calamity which I purpose to bring on them because of the evil of their doings.'

"Therefore I testify to you this day that I [am] innocent of the blood of all [men.]

"For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.
