"I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.

"and I will remember My covenant which [is] between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.

With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you," Says the LORD, your Redeemer.

For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed," Says the LORD, who has mercy on you.

And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and [there was] a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.

I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow [was] on his head, his face [was] like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.

And behold, the glory of the God of Israel [was] there, like the vision that I saw in the plain.

And the cherubim lifted their wings and mounted up from the earth in my sight. When they went out, the wheels [were] beside them; and they stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD's house, and the glory of the God of Israel [was] above them.

This [is] the living creature I saw under the God of Israel by the River Chebar, and I knew they [were] cherubim.

[It was] like the appearance of the vision which I saw -- like the vision which I saw when I came to destroy the city. The visions [were] like the vision which I saw by the River Chebar; and I fell on my face.

"And in the morning you shall see the glory of the LORD; for He hears your complaints against the LORD. But what [are] we, that you complain against us?"

Now it came to pass, as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.

Now the glory of the LORD rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

And he said, "Please, show me Your glory."

But He said, "You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live."

"So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by.

Then He said, "Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, [I,] the LORD, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream.

I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the LORD. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant Moses?"

And it came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy [place,] that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,

so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD.

For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

So I arose and went out into the plain, and behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, like the glory which I saw by the River Chebar; and I fell on my face.

Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying:

and fire came out from before the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When all the people saw [it,] they shouted and fell on their faces.

So he came near where I stood, and when he came I was afraid and fell on my face; but he said to me, "Understand, son of man, that the vision [refers] to the time of the end."

And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not see the vision; but a great terror fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.

Yet I heard the sound of his words; and while I heard the sound of his words I was in a deep sleep on my face, with my face to the ground.

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!"

And when the disciples heard [it,] they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid.

Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?"

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, "Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last.

"I [am] He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
