Why have I seen them dismayed [and] turned back? Their mighty ones are beaten down; They have speedily fled, And did not look back, [For] fear [was] all around," says the LORD.

Also her mercenaries are in her midst like fat bulls, For they also are turned back, They have fled away together. They did not stand, For the day of their calamity had come upon them, The time of their punishment.

You drove out the nations with Your hand, But them You planted; You afflicted the peoples, and cast them out.

As smoke is driven away, So drive [them] away; As wax melts before the fire, [So] let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

Judah became His sanctuary, [And] Israel His dominion.

The mountains skipped like rams, The little hills like lambs.
