If I wash myself with snow water, And cleanse my hands with soap,

Yet You will plunge me into the pit, And my own clothes will abhor me.

"For My eyes [are] on all their ways; they are not hidden from My face, nor is their iniquity hidden from My eyes.

"The sin of Judah [is] written with a pen of iron; With the point of a diamond [it is] engraved On the tablet of their heart, And on the horns of your altars,

' [Is] this not laid up in store with Me, Sealed up among My treasures?

My transgression [is] sealed up in a bag, And You cover my iniquity.

You have set our iniquities before You, Our secret [sins] in the light of Your countenance.

If You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

" The iniquity of Ephraim [is] bound up; His sin [is] stored up.

The LORD has sworn by the pride of Jacob: "Surely I will never forget any of their works.
