"Your right hand, O LORD, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O LORD, has dashed the enemy in pieces.

You in Your mercy have led forth The people whom You have redeemed; You have guided [them] in Your strength To Your holy habitation.

Fear and dread will fall on them; By the greatness of Your arm They will be [as] still as a stone, Till Your people pass over, O LORD, Till the people pass over Whom You have purchased.

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go [back] by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry [land,] and the waters were divided.

that the waters which came down from upstream stood [still, and] rose in a heap very far away at Adam, the city that [is] beside Zaretan. So the waters that went down into the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, failed, [and] were cut off; and the people crossed over opposite Jericho.

And You divided the sea before them, So that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; And their persecutors You threw into the deep, As a stone into the mighty waters.

What ails you, O sea, that you fled? O Jordan, [that] you turned back?

Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, At the presence of the God of Jacob,

To Him who divided the Red Sea in two, For His mercy [endures] forever;

But overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea, For His mercy [endures] forever;

Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; And it shall be to the LORD for a name, For an everlasting sign [that] shall not be cut off."

"But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry [ground] through the midst of the sea.

"And I indeed will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them. So I will gain honor over Pharaoh and over all his army, his chariots, and his horsemen.

For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth."
