"Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One [in whom] My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

And suddenly a voice [came] from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!"

For they persecute the [ones] You have struck, And talk of the grief of those You have wounded.

" Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, Against the Man who is My Companion," Says the LORD of hosts. "Strike the Shepherd, And the sheep will be scattered; Then I will turn My hand against the little ones.

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed [is] everyone who hangs on a tree"),

In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins.

" Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy.

So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

For He made Him who knew no sin [to be] sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people's, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.

how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another --

He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

In burnt offerings and [sacrifices] for sin You had no pleasure.

Previously saying, "Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and [offerings] for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure [in them"] (which are offered according to the law),

By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once [for all.]

But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God,

We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.

Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness -- by whose stripes you were healed.

A posterity shall serve Him. It will be recounted of the Lord to the [next] generation,

Instead of Your fathers shall be Your sons, Whom You shall make princes in all the earth.

I will make Your name to be remembered in all generations; Therefore the people shall praise You forever and ever.

Your people [shall be] volunteers In the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth.

"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

And again: "I will put My trust in Him." And again: "Here am I and the children whom God has given Me."

Of the increase of [His] government and peace [There will be] no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope.

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence [is] fullness of joy; At Your right hand [are] pleasures forevermore.

He asked life from You, [and] You gave [it] to him -- Length of days forever and ever.

His name shall endure forever; His name shall continue as long as the sun. And [men] shall be blessed in Him; All nations shall call Him blessed.

His seed also I will make [to endure] forever, And his throne as the days of heaven.

His seed shall endure forever, And his throne as the sun before Me;

"Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children's children, forever; and My servant David [shall be] their prince forever.

" I was watching in the night visions, And behold, [One] like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, And they brought Him near before Him.

Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion [is] an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom [the one] Which shall not be destroyed.

"And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end."

"whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.

Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope.

You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.'

knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.

"I [am] He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper [in the thing] for which I sent it.

Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; And it shall be to the LORD for a name, For an everlasting sign [that] shall not be cut off."

You shall also be a crown of glory In the hand of the LORD, And a royal diadem In the hand of your God.

For [as] a young man marries a virgin, [So] shall your sons marry you; And [as] the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, [So] shall your God rejoice over you.

In His days the righteous shall flourish, And abundance of peace, Until the moon is no more.

Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed.

Yes, the LORD will give [what is] good; And our land will yield its increase.

The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him, In those who hope in His mercy.

For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.

'Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this land, with all My heart and with all My soul.'

"Say to them: '[As] I live,' says the Lord GOD, 'I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?'

Who [is] a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights [in] mercy.

The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet [you] with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."

"And when he has found [it,] he lays [it] on his shoulders, rejoicing.

"I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

"All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.

"This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.

having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,

having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,

Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of [this] calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of [His] goodness and the work of faith with power,
