Let all the nations be gathered together, And let the people be assembled. Who among them can declare this, And show us former things? Let them bring out their witnesses, that they may be justified; Or let them hear and say, "[It is] truth."

"You [are] My witnesses," says the LORD, "And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I [am] He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me.

"Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I [was] there. And now the Lord GOD and His Spirit Have sent Me."

"The secret [things belong] to the LORD our God, but those [things which are] revealed [belong] to us and to our children forever, that [we] may do all the words of this law.

" For this commandment which I command you today [is] not [too] mysterious for you, nor [is] it far off.

"Nor [is] it beyond the sea, that you should say, 'Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?'

She cries out in the chief concourses, At the openings of the gates in the city She speaks her words:

Does not wisdom cry out, And understanding lift up her voice?

She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city, At the entrance of the doors:

"But look! He speaks boldly, and they say nothing to Him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is truly the Christ?

Then Jesus cried out, as He taught in the temple, saying, "You both know Me, and you know where I am from; and I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me is true, whom you do not know.

On the last day, that great [day] of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.

But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet [given,] because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Jesus answered him, "I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always meet, and in secret I have said nothing.

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language.

"And how [is it that] we hear, each in our own language in which we were born?

When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.

And when they say to you, "Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter," should not a people seek their God? [Should they seek] the dead on behalf of the living?

Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

"Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins.

'Why have we fasted,' [they say,] 'and You have not seen? [Why] have we afflicted our souls, and You take no notice?' "In fact, in the day of your fast you find pleasure, And exploit all your laborers.

"Now therefore, in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of the LORD, and in the hearing of our God, be careful to seek out all the commandments of the LORD your God, that you may possess this good land, and leave [it] as an inheritance for your children after you forever.

And he went out to meet Asa, and said to him: "Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The LORD [is] with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.

For I was ashamed to request of the king an escort of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the road, because we had spoken to the king, saying, "The hand of our God [is] upon all those for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath [are] against all those who forsake Him."

This [is] Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face. Selah

But as for me, my prayer [is] to You, O LORD, [in] the acceptable time; O God, in the multitude of Your mercy, Hear me in the truth of Your salvation.

The humble shall see [this and] be glad; And you who seek God, your hearts shall live.

The sacrifice of the wicked [is] an abomination to the LORD, But the prayer of the upright [is] His delight.

And you will seek Me and find [Me,] when you search for Me with all your heart.

For thus says the LORD to the house of Israel: "Seek Me and live;

" Your words have been harsh against Me," Says the LORD, "Yet you say, 'What have we spoken against You?'

You have said, 'It is useless to serve God; What profit [is it] that we have kept His ordinance, And that we have walked as mourners Before the LORD of hosts?

'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with [their] lips, But their heart is far from Me.

And in vain they worship Me, Teaching [as] doctrines the commandments of men.' "

You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend [it] on your pleasures.

Who [is] this who comes from Edom, With dyed garments from Bozrah, This [One who is] glorious in His apparel, Traveling in the greatness of His strength? -- "I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save."

"God [is] not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

Behold, I have received [a command] to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.

[He is] the Rock, His work [is] perfect; For all His ways [are] justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright [is] He.

And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.

The words of the LORD [are] pure words, [Like] silver tried in a furnace of earth, Purified seven times.

The law of the LORD [is] perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD [is] sure, making wise the simple;

The fear of the LORD [is] clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD [are] true [and] righteous altogether.

The works of His hands [are] verity and justice; All His precepts [are] sure.

They stand fast forever and ever, [And are] done in truth and uprightness.

Righteous [are] You, O LORD, And upright [are] Your judgments.

Your testimonies, [which] You have commanded, [Are] righteous and very faithful.

Listen, for I will speak of excellent things, And from the opening of my lips [will come] right things;

Every word of God [is] pure; He [is] a shield to those who put their trust in Him.
