But now the LORD has spoken, saying, "Within three years, as the years of a hired man, the glory of Moab will be despised with all that great multitude, and the remnant [will be] very small [and] feeble."

"[Is there] not a time of hard service for man on earth? [Are not] his days also like the days of a hired man?

Let the wilderness and its cities lift up [their voice,] The villages [that] Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing, Let them shout from the top of the mountains.

All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you, The rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; They shall ascend with acceptance on My altar, And I will glorify the house of My glory.

And these [were] the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,

These [are] their genealogies: The firstborn of Ishmael [was] Nebajoth; then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,

Woe is me, that I dwell in Meshech, [That] I dwell among the tents of Kedar!

I [am] dark, but lovely, O daughters of Jerusalem, Like the tents of Kedar, Like the curtains of Solomon.

Against Kedar and against the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon shall strike. Thus says the LORD: "Arise, go up to Kedar, And devastate the men of the East!

"Arabia and all the princes of Kedar [were] your regular merchants. They traded with you in lambs, rams, and goats.
