He will redeem his soul from going down to the Pit, And his life shall see the light.

To bring back his soul from the Pit, That he may be enlightened with the light of life.

For You have delivered my soul from death. [Have You] not [kept] my feet from falling, That I may walk before God In the light of the living?

The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, [And] a good report makes the bones healthy.

The poor [man] and the oppressor have this in common: The LORD gives light to the eyes of both.

Wisdom [is] good with an inheritance, And profitable to those who see the sun.

For the LORD God [is] a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good [thing] will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.

"that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
