For truly my words [are] not false; One who is perfect in knowledge [is] with you.

For the law was given through Moses, [but] grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Jesus answered and said to them, "Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from and where I am going.

"But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.

"Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

"Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.

Pilate therefore said to Him, "Are You a king then?" Jesus answered, "You say [rightly] that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice."

" And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ' These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:

Lying lips [are] an abomination to the LORD, But those who deal truthfully [are] His delight.

[It is] an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, For a throne is established by righteousness.

An unjust man [is] an abomination to the righteous, And [he who is] upright in the way [is] an abomination to the wicked.
