The king's wrath [is] like the roaring of a lion, But his favor [is] like dew on the grass.

They waited for me [as] for the rain, And they opened their mouth wide [as] for the spring rain.

[If] I mocked at them, they did not believe [it,] And the light of my countenance they did not cast down.

[There are] many who say, "Who will show us [any] good?" LORD, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us.

For You have made him most blessed forever; You have made him exceedingly glad with Your presence.

You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of joy in Your presence.'

They waited for me [as] for the rain, And they opened their mouth wide [as] for the spring rain.

For His anger [is but for] a moment, His favor [is for] life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy [comes] in the morning.

He shall come down like rain upon the grass before mowing, Like showers [that] water the earth.

Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter [and] former rain to the earth.

Ask the LORD for rain In the time of the latter rain. The LORD will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone.
