He winks with his eyes, He shuffles his feet, He points with his fingers;

Why does your heart carry you away, And what do your eyes wink at,

Let them not rejoice over me who are wrongfully my enemies; Nor let them wink with the eye who hate me without a cause.

The wise in heart will receive commands, But a prating fool will fall.

A fool's lips enter into contention, And his mouth calls for blows.

A fool's mouth [is] his destruction, And his lips [are] the snare of his soul.

Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Therefore, if I come, I will call to mind his deeds which he does, prating against us with malicious words. And not content with that, he himself does not receive the brethren, and forbids those who wish to, putting [them] out of the church.
