"And these [are] the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, an ephod, a robe, a skillfully woven tunic, a turban, and a sash. So they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother and his sons, that he may minister to Me as priest.

They made tunics, artistically woven of fine linen, for Aaron and his sons,

and a sash of fine woven linen with blue, purple, and scarlet [thread,] made by a weaver, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

and the garments of ministry, to minister in the holy [place:] the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons' garments, to minister as priests.

Then Moses brought Aaron's sons and put tunics on them, girded them with sashes, and put hats on them, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

"And it shall be, whenever they enter the gates of the inner court, that they shall put on linen garments; no wool shall come upon them while they minister within the gates of the inner court or within the house.

"They shall have linen turbans on their heads and linen trousers on their bodies; they shall not clothe themselves with [anything that causes] sweat.

"And you shall gird them with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and put the hats on them. The priesthood shall be theirs for a perpetual statute. So you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.

"And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.

in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing,

but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and [into] many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.

But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.

in all things showing yourself [to be] a pattern of good works; in doctrine [showing] integrity, reverence, incorruptibility,

not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.

Do not let your adornment be [merely] outward -- arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on [fine] apparel --

rather [let it be] the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible [beauty] of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.

Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to [your] elders. Yes, all of [you] be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."
