And the LORD routed Sisera and all [his] chariots and all [his] army with the edge of the sword before Barak; and Sisera alighted from [his] chariot and fled away on foot.

He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire.

At Your rebuke, O God of Jacob, Both the chariot and horse were cast into a dead sleep.

With you I will break in pieces the horse and its rider; With you I will break in pieces the chariot and its rider;

But the eyes of the wicked will fail, And they shall not escape, And their hope -- loss of life!"

He will flee from the iron weapon; A bronze bow will pierce him through.

It hurls against him and does not spare; He flees desperately from its power.

"Kings of armies flee, they flee, And she who remains at home divides the spoil.

But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, And it shall devour its palaces, Amid shouting in the day of battle, And a tempest in the day of the whirlwind.

It [will be] as though a man fled from a lion, And a bear met him! Or [as though] he went into the house, Leaned his hand on the wall, And a serpent bit him!

I saw the Lord standing by the altar, and He said: "Strike the doorposts, that the thresholds may shake, And break them on the heads of them all. I will slay the last of them with the sword. He who flees from them shall not get away, And he who escapes from them shall not be delivered.

"The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace."

'You must not fear them, for the LORD your God Himself fights for you.'

So the Philistines were afraid, for they said, "God has come into the camp!" And they said, "Woe to us! For such a thing has never happened before.

"Woe to us! Who will deliver us from the hand of these mighty gods? These [are] the gods who struck the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness.
