He also chose David His servant, And took him from the sheepfolds;

So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

I will behave wisely in a perfect way. Oh, when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

Then the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, "The men of Jabesh Gilead [were the ones] who buried Saul."

Therefore all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron, and King David made a covenant with them at Hebron before the LORD. And they anointed David king over Israel.

So David reigned over all Israel; and David administered judgment and justice to all his people.

The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me: 'He who rules over men [must be] just, Ruling in the fear of God.

And [he shall be] like the light of the morning [when] the sun rises, A morning without clouds, [Like] the tender grass [springing] out of the earth, By clear shining after rain.'

I said in my heart, "God shall judge the righteous and the wicked, For [there is] a time there for every purpose and for every work."

Then Jesus said to them, "My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.

And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.

"because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead."
