A Psalm of David when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, You [are] my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.

My soul longs, yes, even faints For the courts of the LORD; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

My soul faints for Your salvation, But I hope in Your word.

My eyes fail [from searching] Your word, Saying, "When will You comfort me?"

Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him.

[We are] hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; [we are] perplexed, but not in despair;

always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward [man] is being renewed day by day.

while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen [are] temporary, but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.

For to me, to live [is] Christ, and to die [is] gain.

For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand.

Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

knowing that shortly I [must] put off my tent, just as our Lord Jesus Christ showed me.

The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!

In the day when I cried out, You answered me, [And] made me bold [with] strength in my soul.

He gives power to the weak, And to [those who have] no might He increases strength.

But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew [their] strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

O LORD,[You are] the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain my lot.

The lines have fallen to me in pleasant [places;] Yes, I have a good inheritance.

[You are] my portion, O LORD; I have said that I would keep Your words.

I cried out to You, O LORD: I said, "You [are] my refuge, My portion in the land of the living.

"The LORD [is] my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I hope in Him!"

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them [and be] their God.

"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."

"He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
